I am a passionate technophile with both academic and industrial experience in solving real-life problems using Computer Vision and Deep Learning. With years of practice and study, I have gained a solid foundation of programming, data structures and algorithms, allowing me to swiftly implement efficient software systems.

Currently, I am working on Video Interpretation using Deep Learning under the supervision of Dr. Mrigank Rochan as an MSc student at the University of Saskatchewan. I am also working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the CS dept.

I am experienced in teaching several undergrad CS courses such as Algorithms, Data Structures, Structured Programming, and Digital Signal Processing while serving as a Lecturer for the CSE dept. at IUT which is a subsidiary organ of OIC and a leading engineering university in Bangladesh.

I was actively involved in building large-scale Bengali OCR systems for multiple govt. and commercial clients while working as an ML Engineer at Apurba Technologies Ltd.

My BSc thesis work on "Efficient Violence Detection from Surveillance Footage" was published in IJCNN 2021 and have gained about 40 citations so far.

I aim to be an impactful engineer and develop robust and efficient systems for solving real-world problems.
